I think this was probably the last of those beautiful in between days; it was windy and slightly overcast, warm enough for shorts and chilly enough in the afternoon to merit one last time for boots. I know a lot of people itch for the day they can reach for their flip-flops, but my feet are hideous and my legs are super blotchy. Give me boots over sandals any day. Except, you know, today. Because it's hot as all get-out and I'd be happier in my skivvies and bare feet. Instead, I have to go and put on a dress and heels and pretend to be a proper lady for a few hours. Boo/hiss!
