At the sweet age of 18 I worked all summer long, on a really rubbish wage at All Saints, just to save up enough money for a 2 week vacation. The very Summer I passed up on a beautiful Luella bag in Harvey Nichols, worked virtually everyday with no days off, and honestly lived of fresh air.
I visited Corfu with my boyfriend at the time, and had the most amazing island adventures- courtesey of a quad bike (neither of us had a licence then). We explored hidden beaches, olive groves and tiny villages, were left speechless by the incredible views Paleokastritsa provided, and even stumbled on a cheeky nudist beach. On a trip into Corfu town I picked up this incredible bag in an old leather shop ( along with another special something- I will show you someday)... then struggled to carry it back to our hotel on the quad. It has been such a cherished piece ever since, full of memories from our holiday.
